How to Make Kinah in Aion 2 (2026 Guide)

By FastWoWGold Team · Published · Last updated:

Short answer: in Aion 2 Global, quests, dungeons, and weekly content give you steady kinah, but much of it is bound to your character. The kinah you can actually spend with other players comes from the Market, by selling tradable materials, crafted consumables, and good gear drops. Level up, unlock the Market, and stop vendoring items other players will pay for.

Aion 2 Global at a glance

Aion 2 is NCSOFT's sequel to the original Aion. The Global version launched on PC through Steam and NCSOFT's PURPLE launcher on October 5, 2026, after a Founder's Pack head start, with servers for North America, South America, and Europe. As in the first game, you pick a side, Elyos or Asmodians, and the in-game currency is kinah (the Global client spells it "Kina").

Global launched only a few weeks ago, so prices and the best farming routes are still settling. Many guides online are based on the Korean version, which has been out longer and doesn't always match Global's rules. Use this guide for the overall approach, and check the in-game Market for what things are worth on your server.

Bound kinah vs. tradable kinah

This is the first thing to understand about the Aion 2 economy. Kinah from quests, dungeons, and many other rewards is bound: it stays on that character and pays for in-game costs like upgrades, repairs, teleports, and crafting fees. The game spends bound kinah first. Regular (tradable) kinah is what you use to buy from other players on the Market, and you get most of it by selling items there.

In practice, "making kinah" means two things: earning enough bound kinah to fund your own progression, and earning tradable kinah by selling things other players want. A character can have a big bound balance and still be unable to buy a single item on the Market.

How trading works on Global

  • No direct player trade. NCSOFT disabled direct player-to-player trading on Global as an anti-bot measure. There's no trade window and no way to hand kinah to a friend or guildmate.
  • The Market is the trading hub. Tradable items are listed on the Market and bought by other players. You can't choose your buyer.
  • Level and Membership requirements. Market access requires a level 45 character and an active Membership subscription. The Founder's Pack includes Membership, but it doesn't skip the level requirement.
  • Fees. Sales pay out after Market fees, so include them when you work out whether something is worth listing.

These rules come from NCSOFT's launch-period announcements and may change, so check the official patch notes if something doesn't work as described.

Kinah while leveling (1 to 45)

You can't sell on the Market before level 45, so early on the goal is to spend less, not to sell more.

  • Do side quests. Side quests give kinah, gear, and materials, and their kinah rewards grow with your level.
  • Extract unwanted gear. Instead of selling white and green gear to vendors, extract it for materials. Upgrades use a lot of materials, and anything tradable you keep can be sold once the Market opens.
  • Don't over-upgrade leveling gear. You'll replace it at the level cap, so heavy upgrade spending before then is mostly wasted.
  • Watch small costs. Teleports, scrolls, and buff food add up quickly if you use them by habit.

Endgame kinah farming (level 45+)

Dungeons

Once you reach the level cap, dungeons give kinah, gear, and materials. Keep or extract what you need and list the rest on the Market. Stick to content your character clears reliably: a fast, easy run usually beats a hard one you might fail.

Abyss and other endgame content

The Abyss rewards kinah and drops from monsters along with its own objectives, but it's open PvP, so expect interruptions from the other faction. Arena, battlefields, and other level-45 content mainly give progression rewards, though anything tradable they drop can still be sold.

Weekly content

Weekly tasks, including Abyss weeklies, crafting supply tasks, events, and dungeon goals, give a reliable chunk of rewards every week. Some reward currencies can be exchanged for upgrade materials, which often sell well. Doing your weeklies every week adds up to more than the odd long farming session.

Gathering and crafting

Gathering in Aion 2 is called Essence Extraction. It gives ores, gems, logs, herbs, cooking ingredients, and Odyle. There are five crafting professions, Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, Handicrafting, Alchemy, and Cooking, and each one levels separately. Crafting tables are in the main settlements of each faction.

  • Sell materials other players need. Gathering materials that crafters want and listing them on the Market is one of the simplest ways to earn kinah without relying on dungeon rewards.
  • Craft consumables. Potions, food, and scrolls are used all the time, so demand stays steady. Alchemy is often recommended as a reliable source of income at endgame.
  • Do the math first. Add up the materials, the crafting cost, and the Market fees, and compare the total with the item's selling price. If the finished item sells for less, sell the materials instead. The Market search button next to an ingredient shows its current price.
  • Be careful with risky crafts. Some crafts can fail or have uncertain results. Spare tradable materials like Refining Stones can be worth more on the Market than a gamble.

Beginner mistakes that waste kinah

  • Selling tradable materials or gear to an NPC vendor without checking the Market price first.
  • Assuming all your kinah can be spent on the Market, then finding out most of it is bound.
  • Spending heavily on gear you'll replace at the level cap.
  • Crafting without counting Market fees, then selling at a loss.
  • Following Korean-version price guides as if Global's economy were the same.

FAQ

What's the best way to make kinah in Aion 2?
Once you reach the Market, selling tradable materials, crafted consumables, and good gear drops is the main way to earn kinah you can spend with other players. Before that, quests, dungeons, and weekly content build up the bound kinah that pays for your own progression.
Why can't I spend some of my kinah on the Market?
Kinah earned from quests and many rewards is bound to your character. It covers in-game costs, but Market purchases need regular, tradable kinah, which mostly comes from selling items to other players.
Can I trade kinah directly with another player in Aion 2 Global?
Not at launch. NCSOFT disabled direct player-to-player trading on the Global servers as an anti-bot measure, so the Market is the way items change hands between players. Check the official notes, as this may change after launch.
Is it safe to buy kinah instead of farming it?
Buying from a trusted seller is the safest way to do it: look for real-time stock, a clear delivery process, and a refund if the order can't be delivered. FastWoWGold delivers Aion 2 kinah by hand and refunds any order we can't deliver.
