Xbox UK Walks Back WoW: Forever Console Tease

Xbox UK recently shared a social media post suggesting that WoW: Forever would arrive on Xbox in November. The post, which included an image of the game, spread quickly on Reddit and X before it was taken down.

A revised version of the announcement left WoW: Forever off the list of upcoming titles, which fueled speculation that a console release was planned. Xbox UK then confirmed that the game is not available on Xbox and will only be offered through Battle.net on PC and Mac.

The game does support gamepads, but this clarification should put to rest, for now, the idea that WoW is headed to consoles.
