Classic Shaman Discord Reopens After 13-Hour Closure

The Classic Shaman Discord was shut for about 13 hours over class design concerns, then reopened ahead of WoW: Forever's launch.

The Classic Shaman Discord has reopened after being closed for nearly 13 hours. It shut down early in the morning, blocking players from posting in any of its channels. The closure followed a list of design problems the community raised about how developers are handling all shaman specializations in WoW: Forever, which the group said conflicted with the core design and feel of shamans.

As of the afternoon, players can once again chat in the server's channels while they get ready for the WoW: Forever launch. The team acknowledged the shutdown with a light tone, joking that nobody seriously expected them to close the Discord for the launch.

WoW: Forever goes live in just over 24 hours. There have been no tuning changes listed since yesterday's development notes.
