Guild Wars 2 Living World Seasons Now Bundled With Expansions
Living World Season 2 is now free for all level 80 characters, and Seasons 3 to 5 are included with the matching expansions. Starter Pack and bundle contents have also changed.
Living World Season 2 is now free for every player with a level 80 character, joining Season 1 as free content. This lets players move from the end of the core story into Heart of Thorns without a gap.
Seasons 3 and 4 now come with the Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire bundle, and Season 5, The Icebrood Saga, comes with End of Dragons. Owners of these expansions automatically receive any episodes they were missing. Living World seasons are no longer sold on their own.
The Elder Dragon Saga and Complete Collection bundles have been updated to reflect these changes, and a new Astral Ward Saga bundle has been added. The Starter Pack now includes a Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic, five Teleport to Friend devices, and two Black Lion Chest Keys, and earlier buyers will receive these items by in-game mail. Players who bought Living World content after September 12, 2026 will get an automatic refund for it, and anyone missing items or a refund by October 15 should contact ArenaNet Support.
