EVE Online Patch 24.01 Brings Alliance Tournament Rewards, Crimson Harvest Changes and Fixes

Version 24.01 of EVE Online has been released, and its latest updates center on the Alliance Tournament XXII. The team congratulated the winning alliance, Deteriorated, and added a Victory character background to the game. Tournament prizes, including the Penitence and Herald, along with an Amarr Victory SKIN, are now available as well. The finals were also set to be streamed live on the Fenris Creations Twitch channel.

The Crimson Harvest event received several adjustments. Its final week added new rewards to the reward track, such as Blood Raider and Tetrimon Crimson Mark SKINs for the Leshak, a Crimson Totality portrait background, and a Blood Raider Ship Crate. Based on player feedback, the team also raised drop rates for several commodity items and Criterion Ciphers, and let Criterion Ciphers drop from more hollow outbreak sites. Class 3 Hollow Origin sites were expanded to all lowsec systems.

The patch also fixed a number of issues. These include a swapped SKIN license in the Crimson Harvest track, players warping into perimeters unexpectedly in certain hollow sites, idle NPCs in Crimson Harvest combat sites, and graphical errors after stargate jumps, which were reduced but not fully resolved. The in-game bug reporter was restored, and several localization and visual fixes were made. A sovereignty change also added a 30-day cooldown on changing an alliance capital system.
