AION 2 Restricts 2,423 Accounts for Botting, Economy Abuse and Third-Party Kinah Purchases
AION 2 has restricted 2,423 accounts for bot use, gold farming, RMT and economy abuse, and warned that buying Kinah from third parties can lead to suspension.
On November 4, AION 2 announced that it had restricted 2,423 accounts after a review found they broke the Operation Policy. The sanctions target bot and macro use, organized play patterns linked to gold farming or real-money trading, and trading that disrupts the in-game economy.
The team also said it has disciplined players who bought Kinah from outside sources, reminding everyone that unauthorized third-party transactions can lead to account suspension or termination. Normal play, including long grinding sessions, is not affected, and restrictions are applied only after review.
Separately, a small number of accounts were temporarily locked as a precaution after access from a possibly risky device or connection was detected. These locks are meant to protect accounts and items until they can be verified. Players who believe a restriction or lock was made in error can contact Customer Support, and each request is reviewed individually.
